Privacy Policy

KŌINIchat is a free mobile app for sending and reading public messages on public blockchains. This policy is short because we collect almost nothing.

What we collect

Nothing, on our side. KŌINIchat has no accounts, no sign-up, no servers of ours that store your data, and no analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not collect, store, sell, or share personal information.

What stays on your device

• Your address book nicknames and recent recipients.
• Your blocked-address list and hidden messages.
• A local cache of messages already fetched, and per-chain sync markers.
• Any custom RPC endpoints you enter in Settings.

All of it lives only on your device and is deleted when you delete the app.

What is public by design

Messages you send are written to public blockchains. They are public, permanent, and readable by anyone, through KŌINIchat or any blockchain explorer. Your wallet address and transaction history on public chains are likewise public. We cannot edit or delete blockchain data — no one can.

Third parties the app talks to

• Your wallet app (MetaMask, Phantom, etc.) signs transactions. Its own privacy policy applies to it.
• Public RPC endpoints relay reads and transactions to each blockchain; they see your IP address and the addresses you query, as any internet request would. You may substitute your own RPC in Settings.
• WalletConnect (Reown) relays the encrypted connection between the app and your EVM wallet.

Children

KŌINIchat is not directed at children and displays unmoderated public blockchain content filtered on-device.
